1. What does a social media agency actually do?
A social media agency manages, shapes, and builds your online presence. They create content, plan what and when to post, design your messaging, and help grow your audience. They make sure everything you share reflects your brand and helps create a personal connection with your followers.
2. Do I really need social media if I already have PR?
Yes. PR and social media do different things, and they work best together. Even with strong PR, people (including editors and producers) will look at your social media for a deeper understanding of who you are and what you do. It’s often the first place someone goes after seeing a press hit.
3. What platforms should I be on?
We focus on the platforms where your audience actually is and where your content will perform best. Typically, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn, depending on your goals.
4. How often should I be posting?
We suggest posting at least 3–5 times per week. Consistency matters more than volume. While there are general guidelines regarding the best times to post, your analytics will determine which dates and times are best for your audience.
5. Do you create the content, or do I have to?
We create the content. We handle the ideas, captions, edits, and design. When applicable, you will provide select images and videos, and we will use them to make cohesive content that tells a compelling story of your brand, product, and life.
6. What kind of content works best?
Content that is clear, relevant, and engaging works best. This includes elevated product shots, unboxing and reveal videos, strong visuals, simple graphics, direct-to-camera videos, behind-the-scenes moments, and posts that share insights, tell a story, or show what you do. The most effective content is either educational, emotionally inspiring, or visually appealing.
7. How long does it take to see growth?
Social media done properly (authentically) is a long game. You may see engagement shifts early, while meaningful growth comes from consistency and strategy over time. Within a few months, you will be able to see growth in numbers while we also focus on building strong engagement.
8. Will you help with Reels and video content?
Yes. Video is a major focus. We develop ideas, write scripts, edit content, and guide you through the select content you will need to record—this includes direct-to-camera videos and personal or event-based b-roll. We also take longer-form content, i.e., speaking engagements, interviews, and podcast episodes and cut them into short, ready-to-post clips.
9. Do you manage comments and messages?
Yes. Community management is part of maintaining an active and responsive presence. This includes responding to comments and DMs in a timely fashion. Should a comment or DM require your direct response, we will flag those for you in real time.
10. Can you guarantee followers or viral content?
No. Be cautious of any agency that guarantees followers or viral content. We focus on building the right followers (real people, not bots). Part of the charm of a viral video is that it wasn't planned; it went viral spontaneously.
11. How does social media tie into overall brand strategy?
